Clean Machine gets Amazon.com Distribution

It's a very dynamic remote support market, indeed. PC Clean Machine has a distribution deal with Amazon.com, where a year's subscription to the Personal PC Concierge Service is available for $119.99 (it's usually a $200 yearly subscription).

Thanks, also to the folks at CrossLoop, who saw the blog and commented. Interesting statistic about the growth of their business. Mrinal Desai, the company's co-founder and VP of sales and business development, says that they have one million users in 190 countries. And he notes a tremendous rate of growth. When they launched, it took the company 134 days to serve a total of one million "help" minutes. Today, they're at that rate in 5-6 days. That's a lot of needy people!

And, Luke Ford, My Computer Works' CEO - says that they grew their business at a 150% rate in 2007, and 100% this year.

Sounds like I need to look into this as as gift for my Mom for the holidays. Maybe she will stop calling me (aka "the help desk") to "fix" her computer.
